Juliana’s Summer body

Juliana is a mother of 4 whom we had the pleasure of meeting during the very first shooting of funny kids. A Crossfit enthusiast, she shares her vision of the famous Summer Body.

“Summer’s well underway, you may be going on vacation and you’ve probably heard of the famous SUMMER BODY! What’s a summer body? You’ve got a body and a bikini? Congratulations, you’ve got a bikini body!

So there’s no need to stress about exposing your body on the beach or by the pool. Just enjoy your vacation! After all, a summer body is simply a body you feel good in. If you had a goal at the beginning of the year and, for various reasons, you didn’t achieve it, that’s okay. Summer is also the ideal time to reclaim your body and opt for a healthier lifestyle.
You don’t deprive yourself, you eat better. Forget diets and learn to eat a balanced diet. Try to eat regularly so you don’t starve yourself. And remember, 3pm calories are the same as 9pm calories. So if you’re hungry, eat!

Many of us have seen our bodies change. In my case, 4 pregnancies and a lot of changes! Stretch marks, scars, orange peel skin, diastasis, relaxed skin, pregnancy masks… Etc
Remember that all these changes are normal! So be proud to have borne such beautiful children, to have given them warmth and love. Your marks don’t define you.

And if you feel like it, you can do a few exercises on the beach with your little ones!

THE KOALA SQUAT
Once you’ve got your little one hooked, you’re off for 2 or 3 sets of squats (keep your back straight, stomach tucked in and legs parallel).
THE TUNNEL
It’s sheathing time! Make a nice plank, taking care to position your back so you don’t arch your back, and don’t lift your buttocks. You’re making a tunnel, not a mountain!
THE BRIDGE
Sheathing in one direction, sheathing in the other! On your back, raise your pelvis towards the sky, with both feet anchored to the ground, squeeze your stomach and buttocks, while your little one passes underneath you!”

Thank you Juliana for this testimonial. It’s a great idea to combine sports with games for children.
